For immediate release – All AAISG Members:

The Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology Society of Georgia (AAISG) is currently not a recognized state specialty society of the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) due to lack of current AAISG physician representation within MAG. An unrecognized specialty society such as the AAISG does not have the opportunity to have a Delegate within MAG to advocate on its behalf.

The AAISG recommends and encourages all AAISG physician members to become members of MAG or renew their membership here:

Ultimately, the objective is for AAISG to become recognized by MAG as a state specialty society.

The AAISG will reimburse physician members for one half of the annual cost of MAG membership (typically $137.50 of the $275 membership fee but may be less if within another association). Simply email Susan Young at aaisga2021@gmail.com with a copy of your receipt, and the AAISG will reimburse one half of your fee once confirmed with MAG.
